Description

Ruby from the Baringo area of Kenya is beautiful and displays a pinkish modifier. The deposit is alluvial meaning that the Rubies initially formed hundreds of miles away in the mists of time, and were transported by ancient rivers and deposited in their present resting place. They are dug up by the local tribe as little smooth water worn pebbles.

This exceptional ruby, recently mined in Baringo, Kenya, originates from an alluvial deposit known for producing stones of remarkable vibrancy. It displays a cheerful and bright personality, characterized by a lively pinkish-red hue that is a distinctive hallmark of gems from this region. The color is both captivating and dynamic, offering excellent visual appeal in a variety of lighting conditions. Notably, this ruby is completely natural and has undergone no heat treatment or any other form of enhancement, preserving its authentic beauty and rarity in its purest form.
